Bushbundu 4x4 Rental and Adventures CC (referred to “Bushbundu” or “Bushbundu Car Rental”) requires your personal data to enter into a car rental agreement with you. When an order is placed, we gather, retain and use your personal data only to the extent necessary to provide our services and to fulfil the rental contract. The privacy policy also extends to the distribution of information material, the preparation of quotations and the answering of specific inquiries. We will not collect any personal data, which is not required to provide the agreed service(s) to you.

Bushbundu requires your personal data to enter into a car rental agreement with you. We will not collect any personal information, which is not deemed necessary to provide our service(s) to you. We may use the collected data to undertake a credit check through our service providers for anti-money laundering (AML) compliance and identity verification and validation checks.

We handle/process all personal data within our team or through contractors based in Namibia. Your personal data is not accessible to third parties unless this is necessary for the purpose of providing a service or fulfilling the rental agreement. Information is provided to the authorities or to other governmental institutions only in the context of statutory obligations to provide information or on the basis of court rulings. We have implemented a Privacy Policy to ensure the secure and proper processing of your personal information.

We are required by law to keep your basic personal information for a minimum of 5 years following the termination of the rental agreement. Once this period has expired your personal information may be destroyed. We may use your basic personal information for marketing purposes until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive this information.

Individuals under 18 years of age should not transmit personal data to us without the consent of their parents or guardians. We do not knowingly request personal data from children and adolescents, do not collect it and do not pass it on to third parties.

This privacy statement does not apply to third-party websites connected by links on our website. We cannot guarantee that these third parties handle your personal data reliably or securely. We advise you to review the privacy statements of these websites before utilizing them.

If you believe the information, we handle about you is incorrect, you may request to see this information and have it corrected or deleted.
